Dear Brown Alley Management Team,

I live near your venue and have been affected by the louder DJ music on weekend nights. While I understand the importance of Brown Alley adding vibrancy to our community, I hope we can find a solution that maintains neighborhood tranquility.

Could you please consider:
Lowering the volume at night, or improving soundproofing.

I believe we can find a balance that keeps Brown Alley lively without disrupting the peace. Looking forward to your response and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The security guard at The Brown Alley said we could’t get in because we were south americans. Then, one of them hit one of our friends by knocking her to the ground (yes, a big man hitting a girl under five feet tall). That man should be penalized. We called the police but they didn’t do anything at all.

If anyone has any information about the bouncer, please contact me. That man is very violent and can’t be working there (or anywhere else).

Attended an event 24/2/23, the venue was perfect: atmosphere was on-point, the various stages (3 were active that night) all each had well-staffed bars, the venue was regularly cleaned throughout the night, and overall every worker was friendly.

Just be aware you enter not from Brown Alley (the street) itself, but Lonsdale St, just next to the Colonial Hotel.

Charging 5% eftpos surcharge on card payments. Cannot be justified. Australian consumer law is clear that the business can only recover actual costs.
