Cavern Club Bar

One of my absolute favourite bars in Wellington!! Always amazing service and friendly staff too! The Rose Bud cocktail is really good too. I highly recommend coming here if you’re ever in the area!

me and my friends love cavern club and come here most weekends where the staff and bouncers are all super lovely! but last night had an awful experience with an older blonde / grey haired lady who completely berated us about being on our phones, which we were using to contact our friends meeting us there, and started yelling and pointing her fingers at us saying DONT POST THIS INTERACTION when we had no plans to do so and started yelling at us for absolutely no reason to get the f out of the club because we were speaking back to her. we had done absolutely nothing wrong, not talked to her but she was glaring at us as soon as she sat down next to us. we have never experienced that level of harassment from anyone especially at cavern where people are so friendly all the time. we ended up leaving when our friends arrived and have let one of the bartenders know our experience – we will still be coming to cavern on our nights out and hopefully we won’t see this crazy lady again lol

Great place to have a 22nd birthday, terrible place to find out how many of your friends think your dad is hot.

Interesting mix of music and people. There was a good group of us, so it was fun to take over the dance floor.

The best vibes & the best tunes! Had an amazing night!
