What do Club Unity visitors reviews this place?
Hello, how are you? My name is Eduardo. I’ll tell you my story. I came to this club for the first time because my friends told me it was very good. I bought a bottle of tequila. We were close to the DJ and out of nowhere they took everything from us and I said, what’s going on? and the tequila still hasn’t run out, he posted it at this time and as I told the girl passing by, I called security who hit me for no reason without knowing what was happening and took me out by force, they stole my cards and cash Why did I tell them that I had a token in my coat that they charged me 3 CAD to keep it, remembering that I paid in cash for the bottle I paid for, they forcibly took me outside for no reason and beat me, the truth is, be careful in this place, the first time This happens to me in Canada and all because I am Mexican, they couldn’t help me, be careful.
I still paid 20 cad for the ticket plus 3 cad for the jacket that they forcefully asked me to keep
Let them check their cameras and show the truth when the person hits me and forcibly takes me out.

My friend and I decided to order a pair of shots from the bar on the first floor, right-hand side of the DJ booth.
The bartender, a blonde bloke in his mid/late twenties, poured us our shot and handed us the card machine. Now, my friend had just tipped that bartender a little while back, so decided to press Skip.
The bartender saw that, and PHYSICALLY snatched the machine off my friend’s hands, put in an 18% tip for himself, and handed it back to my friend. We were, of course, surprised. When we politely suggested that tips were, after all, not mandatory, the bartender removed the (still full) glasses from the bar and EMPTIED THEM DOWN THE DRAIN IN FRONT OF OUR EYES, before casually shrugging and turning away with a “If you wouldn’t tip me, I wouldn’t serve you.”
If that wasn’t shocking enough, when I tried to escalate the issue to the floor manager (or whatever her official title is), this pompous, entitled woman no more than 5’3” rudely shrieks at me, “If you don’t want to tip, go to a club in your country” and walks away.
My country? Excuse me?
All in all, this is one of the best gay clubs in Canada, but it’s got some of the country’s trashiest staff. I was this close 🤏🏻 to calling the cops on both these fools but decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.
My advice: pre-drink before you go. The lesser you engage with the staff, the more pleasant your night would be. Besides, alcohol-sales is clearly not their concern, so why bother

My favorite nightclub to date! I’ve come here on three different occasions and I’ve brought different people every time. Everyone leaves having had the best night. The two different dance floors offer different ambiances, and the rooftop bar with a view is a great breath of fresh air from the club atmosphere downstairs. I’ve gone to many clubs, and some places have guest lists or exclusive VIP entry. Unity isn’t like that. You pay the cover fee (which is totally worth it in my opinion), go in, and dance. Simple as that. Everyone that I’ve ever gone with was able to get in, and that’s how clubbing should be! If you love good music, good vibes, and a great time, this is your place. I highly recommend for a night out in Montreal (especially if you’re queer, but all are welcome!) ❤️
If you are a night owl and love to rock on the dance floor then this one is perfect place for you. However it’s not an extraordinary place, bot not bad.
After coming to Montreal city, it was my first experience to explore the night life and to do this, I went to this bar.
I had to pay 20 CAD for my laptop bag and 3 CAD for my jacket and extra tips at the entrance. They did not mention these expenses on their website!
I did not try any drinks as they seem overpriced to me. The DJ of both floors were doing great. However to some extent the environment was too foggy! And the behavior of staffs were not up to the mark.

Thanks for your reply. I have rephrased my first paragraph of this review as I think I did not clarify my main concern.
You should mention the entry fees on your website. I checked your website and couldn’t find the entry fees (04 June, 2023).
And some of the staff seem very depressed. I hope they will welcome us with a smile!
Also,I don’t know who is managing this business site on Google map. I was reading a few replies to the reviews. These replies can be written in a polished way!
I had a blast on NYE. Yes I was in line for 2 hours but my fault for showing up late. The staff was Friendly, even the bouncer was trying to keep things under control but there was people wit tickets that cut in line. Like seriously?! And some complain to the bouncer!! Y’all should arrive earlier. Who the hell show up at 11pm when the line is already around the block. Good thing I bought my umbrella wit me since it was pouring rain. Once inside, there was 2 room. I was in the hip hop and reggae. And the DJ was amazing! She play the full song and old school music, shaggy, Rihanna, Timberland etc. The drinks was good and it got so hot. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. Honestly this is the best club I been to. And no dress code. You can be shirtless inside! wild out !!
