Coyotes Late Bar

As far as a bar goes, great atmosphere, good DJ music choice, we had a really good laugh and dance. However…Coyotes bar, as the name states is based on the film
Coyote Ugly, so this was a little disappointing. The bar dancing is so far away from this, it was robotic and none interactive, more like an afternoon aerobics class and nothing like I’ve experienced in bars of the same name!

Honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever received in any bar, pub or club. I’ve met friendlier staff in English Wetherspoons. Myself and two friends went in on the night of the 29th, as far as I’m aware the staff that night were actually ex staff due to the work party being on. We go to the cocktail bar as the week before I’d gotten a somewhat passable strawberry diaquairi there so I decided that I’d order that again. We watch the lad make it, watch him pour the measurements for the 3 diaquairis that we ordered. He finishes blending our drinks and puts 3 martini glasses on the bar. Immediately, all of our faces dropped. This lad grabs the blender and fills the 3 regular sized martini glasses with the cocktail and leaves half of the mixture in the blender. He also gave us weird looks before saying nothing and giving us straws which were not available on the bar. We return to our table and I’m already unhappy with this service considering we received half of what we actually paid for. It was at this point when another member of staff approached the bar, picked up the blender and laugh about the remainder of the mixture in the blender.Two of us finish our drinks and that is when I watch the bartender sneakily grab the blender and pour himself a drink from the blender with plenty to spare. Of course after witnessing another staff member laugh about the situation and watch the bartender pour himself a drink that i paid for, I was livid and returned to the counter and politely requested the rest of the drinks that we had been charged for. The bartender laughed in my face and told me that he filled the glasses. I retort that that is not what that cocktail is usually served in and he continued to argue that that is how they are served there, which is simply incorrect as other regulars and myself have been served in different glassware only a week prior. At this point I was very angry with the server and explained I watched him pour his own drink and only then did he aggressively and with attitude throw the rest of the mixture into the same 2 empty glasses that i had returned to the bar, I was not even offered a clean glass. Immediately after this I watch him leave the bar unattended to talk about me to his colleagues to which I respond by loudly announcing to my table my disgust with the service I had just received. After that we went downstairs and were served by a very polite lad in the smoking area but no amount of acceptable service could make up for being mocked and laughed at to my face as a paying customer on a dead night. Actually shocking. I understand its not a 5 star restaurant and even if he had kept some of the drink for himself after pouring for us i would understand but it is the fact that he kept half the mixture I was appalled. Before, I would have recommended the bar to friends as it seemed nice enough, despite having a bad reputation but after that experience I won’t be returning and if I did I definitely wouldn’t order cocktails as you’re charged double what youre actually given. Shocking behaviour.

On the night of 29/2/24 I had barely even reached the queue for Coyotes when the bouncer shouted at me telling me I’m barred. I told him I was not barred as it was my first time there in weeks and I had no issues when I was there before. He said it again and told me to go away. The following Tuesday 5/3/24 I was let into Coyotes by the bouncer at the door. While queuing for the toilets, a different bouncer tapped me on the shoulder and told me to get out. I asked why and he replied “What you did here before was absolutely disgusting…get out now”. I was shocked and asked what I had done but he couldn’t give me and answer. He kept repeating that I had done something disgusting and I was so upset that I burst into tears as he pushed me past everyone onto the street. I don’t know if he is confusing me with someone else but it is completely unfair and I never want to set foot in that kip ever again. Not to mention the fact that the place got so crowded at one stage that there were people saying “I can’t breathe” and getting trampled on the floor…

We were there for the karaoke night and we had a lot of fun. The internet was connection was bad for some minutes but we had a little acapella session with the other people there and it was just amazing. The guy who did all the karaoke stuff was really nice. Definitely coming back

nice place, I really enjoyed Karaoke night however there should be one clear coctail menu, cuz that one we saw turned out to be not corect, and we pay for coctails more than we thought at first
