Exchange LA

Grabbitz opened for Level Up on my bday here at the former LA Stick Exchange so I had to go and so happy I did! The architecture is so unique bc of what it was originally built for , ironically give this place a perfect show venue. Hot girls? The servers had decent to upper class buttcheeks which I enjoyed watching. The VIP room was smal but I guess it used to be some hacks small office.

The house was very full and I couldn’t move or dance. I went to watch my favorite DJ Armin and I couldn’t get to the end of the concert, just sad 🥲

I’ve been here a few times, great DJs that they booked here but VERY OVERRATED nightclub. They’re very strict on dress code. (so no sports hats allowed) The sound of the music is too loud, too much bass. Crowds can be overcrowded, aggressive, and obnoxious at times, but besides that, I’ve still encountered fun people. Only rated it 2 stars because I went to see Blossom one night with my gf, and we had a great time. Other than that, I’d wouldn’t recommend this place, the same can be said about its sister clubs Academy & Time. 👎👎

We went to Exchange to celebrate a 21st birthday and it was a five star experience. Reserved a table in the mezzanine behind the stage– great view of the dj and the entire dance floor, the VIP coordinators were extremely helpful and attentive, and the bottle service was on point. The birthday girl was thrilled with the evening, as was everyone in our party. I’ve been to three shows at Exchange in the past six months and all of them rocked. Will go here again and again. Best dance music club in LA.
