About this restaurants :
On a note positive note the food was of a much better quality than I expected. The veggie burger and fries were great. There were 3 or 4 vegetarian choices.
The drink choices were good, cocktails, mocktails I expected, but also canned cider, beer, fizzy drinks etc were in the free allocation.
The music/DJ was great and the drag act was entertaining. One had a lot of clothing changes while the other stayed the same throughout ,(slightly disappointing).
The atmosphere created was pretty good.
I probably wouldn’t do it again (but I’m getting old) as it felt like there were far too many people crammed in there, it started off very chaotic and do really busy… But I did have fun and a great afternoon with the teen.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to Fire Nightclub. As someone who frequents nightlife establishments, I have never encountered such blatant mistreatment and disregard for customer safety until my experience at your venue.
Allow me to recount the events of that evening. While enjoying the music and atmosphere, I found myself immersed in the pulsating energy of the dance floor. However, my enjoyment was abruptly interrupted when I was unjustly targeted and escorted outside by your security staff.
The reason for this unjust action? Simply because I happened to resemble someone else in the crowd who was causing trouble. Despite my attempts to explain the situation and clarify that I was not involved in any wrongdoing, I was met with dismissiveness and indifference from your bouncers.
Feeling shocked, scared, and deeply unsettled, I couldn’t help but reflect on the implications of being treated in such a manner. As a person of Middle Eastern descent, I am all too familiar with the pervasive issue of racial profiling and discrimination. To experience it within the supposed safety of a gay nightclub, a space that should champion inclusivity and acceptance, is both disheartening and infuriating.
Moreover, the lack of intervention from the management team only compounded my distress. Instead of addressing the situation and ensuring justice was served, they remained conspicuously absent, leaving me feeling abandoned and marginalized.
It is profoundly disappointing to realize that even within a community that prides itself on solidarity and understanding, prejudice and ignorance can still rear their ugly heads. No one should ever feel unsafe or unwelcome in a space that is meant to be a sanctuary from the outside world.
In conclusion, my experience at Fire Nightclub has left an indelible mark on me, one that serves as a stark reminder of the work that still needs to be done to combat discrimination and promote equality. I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and take proactive steps to address the issues raised.
Sincerely,
THE GUY YOU MISS TREATED –
Thank you again.
