Fusion Venue

I’m not one for reviews but just reading through some of the reviews I needed to address what happened to my friend as it seems people have had similar incidents with this head doorman.

I’ve been a regular for a while now ever since I moved to Drogheda, and until recently, my experiences at Fusion have always been positive.

During my last visit, however, things took an unexpected turn. A friend who had never been to Fusion before accompanied me, and when we approached the entrance, Jason, the head doorman, denied her entry. We were taken aback by the reason for the refusal, and when we tried to explain that she was a first-time visitor, Jason outright accused us of lying, saying she was kicked out before.

This interaction was not only perplexing but also disheartening. It felt like our honesty was being questioned without cause. We reiterated that she genuinely hadn’t been to Fusion before, but our attempts to clarify the situation were met with skepticism.

This incident has raised serious concerns about the possibility of discrimination. The untrue story placing her in the club, coupled with Jason’s refusal to believe our explanation, has left us contemplating the potential implications of such treatment. We believe there may be grounds for a serious discrimination case if such practices persist. Doormen do have the right to refuse yes, but should be held accountable when in the wrong.

I truly value the time I’ve spent at Fusion, however incidents like these compromise the integrity of the nightclub and owners who allow such people to work for them. I bring this to your attention not only as a regular patron but also as someone who believes in the principles of fairness and equal treatment.

I sincerely hope you can investigate this matter thoroughly to ensure such incidents are addressed promptly.

I was in fusion last Saturday, was hoping for good night in club with friends, but we all got very disappointed. Music was a trash. literally Iradio on Saturday evening playing better music. The crowd was sleeping, I don’t understand how this DJ didn’t got buued from the stage. At the end me and my friends left the club, because it was ridiculous boring.

Great place to be racially profiled and denied entrance at the door by the bouncers. I went to the place with two Irish friends that are regulars, we were all well dressed and they just said “not today” to me and they wouldn’t explain me why I was being barred, never been there before, so I assume it’s because I’m not as white as they wanted me to be. Disgraceful bigoted racist bouncers. I got to Earth that night and had a lot of fun, so don’t waste your time if you’re not white.

The club itself is grand and is a last resort for a late drink in Drogheda. But the lad in the toilet needs to be put in prison or given a good hiding. He tapped my bank card 3 times and took over €70 for a spray of lynx. Absolutely disgraceful the fact he even is allowed operate a card machine in the toilet outside of the company accounts. Nearly sure his name is Francis and should be avoided at all costs.

Refused my friend entry because he had a disability and couldn’t walk right , they said he was under the influence of liquor and refused entry , pathetic and incompetent and to think we were looking forward to a good night out and we chose fusion drogheda, decriminating against people with disabilities shame
