Kandy Nightclub

I had a terrible experience at the nightclub, mainly due to the DJ.
While I don’t mind people singing along to the songs and hyping up the crowd, this particular DJ was completely off-key and shouting into the microphone for almost every single song! I simply wanted to dance, have a few drinks, and fun with my friends, instead I had to endure four hours of his terrible singing and excessive shouting. If it wasn’t for my friend’s birthday, I would have left within 20 minutes and asked for a refund!

I understand that this is a nightclub and people can wear whatever they choose, but it’s important to remember that it’s the 21st century and we need to stop objectifying or exploiting women. I’m okay if women (being one myself) want to dance on stage and have fun, but it’s not okay if they are expected to do so for hours on end, where there is an emphasis on certain body parts that are put on display, and are the only ones doing it. Especially when it was instigated by the DJ, noting there is a young and impressionable crowd. I want to add that it wouldn’t matter if the DJ was male or female.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had! I would not come back or consider recommending this nightclub.

Responding to the club owner: I understand your point of view as a club owner, and I agree that not everyone may enjoy the DJ’s style. However, when it comes to the exploitation of women, I do not share the same sentiment. I encourage you to take a leading role in bringing about change, as it requires everyone’s participation, no matter how small their contribution may be.

We had a paid hens night in the vip booth with drinks on arrival
First of all security guards picking out girls in our group refusing entry for no reason just arrogant pigs
Vip section was a fenced off area on the end if the dance floor with people trying to push there way into sit in our seats
We were refused our paid for drinks 2 girls behind the bar giggled and refused to serve us
Then the rude arrogant so called manager told me and i quote “security has told us to refuse you service ” which was a lie i was let straight in as i hadnt been drinking . We questioned why we were being refused and suddenly i was surrounded by security guards and told to get out . So you took our money treated us like trash and kicked us out . Im still in shock how rude and racist the staff were how could you book a group especially such a great event and provide such disgusting service .
I am ashamed you took all our money and were so very rude and disgusting i will never ever step foot in any of your venues and i will tell everyone i meet about my experience . The staff need to be fired that kind of behaviour cannot be fixed .

A very nice, large sized sportsbar. At 9:30pm no food was left to order sadly, but it’s all good (just adapted and went with friends to eat outside).

I give it a 100/10! The music, djs, atmosphere and owner are just incredible and know how to run a club. Can not recommend enough, best location, best people, massive venue and amazing music!

Was pressured to attend here on Sat night at a friend’s request. Unfortunately the bold, short ethnic security guard at the front decided he didn’t like the look of me as pulled the “how many drinks have you had?” line with a grin on his face. As I literally just came from dinner with 1 red wine in me and have not been asked this line for over 10 years (even on the occasions I actually was intoxicated) I knew Tonight, very sober, this particular guard didn’t like me and wanted to abuse his 1 night of power. I didn’t bother arguing despite my friends pleas (who actually had been drinking), I knew it was personal and considering this particular guard was given the short card on life (figitivly and literally) I convinced my friends to leave and go somewhere good (cargo bar where security are not so insecure). My expectations of kandy were not very high in the first place so this particular ego-centric over weight guard actually did me a favor. So thanks.
