About this restaurants :
Went to VNV Nation concert 4/4/24. Parking was easily accessible, but pricey ($28) in lot across from bldg. Pretty smooth getting into the venue, but no elevator access so stairs, lots of stairs. No access to the balconies for the concert which would have made several of the attendees happy as there were no seats on the floor available. Drink prices were a little pricey as we paid $16 for one mixed drink. All in all a memorable experience.
The place is okay, you have to pay for coat check $10/person. There are two sets of restrooms, one you kind of feel like you have to pay but the other one is free… the drinks are normal, could be much better for the price they charge
I’m reviewing on behalf of the venue not the nightclub. I’ve been to a few concerts here and the tickets are usually very reasonable, drinks are average pice (although have quite a bit of ice). The sound quality in this venue is good and well-controlled. Parking was easy to find, there is a garage right across the street and there are some parking lots scattered around. I parked at the hilton and they didn’t even charge me. I didn’t have any notable interactions with the staff but the bathroom attendant was very nice and kept the bathrooms clean.
I am not the clubbing type but when I heard Cascada was coming to Royale I knew I had to go. I’ve never been to Royale before only to a few other clubs around Boston. I must say I had a really good experience. The club is spacious and the line was very fast when it started moving. There were plenty of bars to visit with little to no wait times. I did not feel like I was shoulder to shoulder with everyone else. Having a big space is definitely awesome. Cascada was amazing as well. I would definitely come back to Royale.
I’ve been here for two concerts and have had a great time at both. The venue is small enough that you can see from pretty much anywhere, and the speakers are loud enough to be immersive without being aggressive or painful. I’ve only gotten one drink – a gin and tonic – and didn’t think it was worth the cost.
