What do The Beat Megaclub visitors reviews this place?
as a gay person in brisbane there are so few gay spaces where one can feel safe to be themselves. this evening i was refused entry. as a person with a physical disability i display symptoms of joint display sure and could be perceived as stumbling. when advising this to the door man i was asked to prove i live with a disability. it’s really disappointing to experience the harsh back hand of many
minorities in a place where all should feel safe. Never going back to the Beat again.
So disappointed as a disabled woman. Never going back to somewhere I considered safe.

I go out often but have never gone to the beat before, tonight was my first night and I have to say it was the best experience I’ve ever had in a club. The two barman Blake and Sam went above and beyond and created the best atmosphere for everyone there. The best duo ever. I didn’t catch her name but the pretty girl at the door was extremely welcoming when we entered and thanked us as we left. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a club before. I’ll definitely be back. Keep up your goofy little dance moves Blake and Sam and keep that smile up the pretty door host. 10/10 experience and I definitely recommend.
We went to the beat for the first time and Braydon as our bartender he was so incredibly lovely! He served us quickly, heard what we said easily and made our drinks perfectly all night!!! we definitely recommend, and definitely recommend him as your bartender, he was so kind and considerate.
as a queer person i had quite a bad experience my first time coming. Security was aggressive off the bat and I was immediately kicked off the dance floor for holding a drink? I’m very disappointed, my first time attending Brisbanes only gay club i felt very excluded. Attendees are lovely staff and management may need some reconsideration…
I was in town on holiday and stumbled across this spot in Brisbane. The music was great, the Bartender Sam was exceptional and made me feel very welcomed. He made great drinks and suggested drinks that are authentic to the Aussie culture. If I’m ever in Brisbane again I will definitely return for the good vibes, exceptional service/hospitality, and the music.
