Lovely venues. Nicely spaced out and not to maze-like. Will say that restrooms need more regular checks for toiletry refills (Paper Towels, Toilet Paper and dedicated hand sanitizer stations)
Went to Adonis yesterday. 2 hour queue to get in. Queues to get everywhere. The worst was when the event ended and everyone had to wait 2 hours outside in 0 degree weather to get our coats from the cloakroom. Won’t be going back as this venue is so badly organised and kept. There’s other venues more central and easier to get to that actually look after their guests as human beings. Photo attached shows hundreds of guests waiting in freezing temperatures outside for their belongings which were incorrectly placed in the cloakroom, with contents of their bags missing as they picked up and chucked it around trying to find people’s correct belongings in the mess.
Attended Adonis yesterday & loved the venue space. Special shout-out and thank you to the staff/security at the entrance queue. A group of us arrived at 10am and they all had really nice energy towards us, greeting us, asking how our NYE was like and asking for consent to check the contents of our bags. It was a nice start to a long day and I know it was appreciated by my group of friends and I!
Where do I begin. “Free entry tickets” sold as a scam. The security system knew this and took extra long to let everyone in so they could charge them all £20. We were all charged different prices for drinks, more scams. If you’re gonna hold events at least respect your customers. You hi-vis warriors that got bullied in school I hope your wife cheats on you. DJs we’re great tho #TATNNNNNA
This is one of my favourite clubs in London, even when I miss the small rooms when they were at Tottenham Hale. Their final form now is spectacular. Issues are, as usual, the difficult access to the upper rooms (sometimes needing queuing and crowd control) and the eternal The Cause Cloakroom Curse. And well, drinks are not cheap. Sound is amazing, event programming is stellar, crowd is unpredictable
