What do The Dome visitors reviews this place?
Security need way more training!!!! Matthew the Asian (is what the police told us to refer to him) grabbed my partners arms and ripped them up behind his back when there was no resistance on our end and we didn’t do anything , then continued to smash his face into a locked door to go outside. Completely uncalled for and will be pressing charges for assault. The manager who was bald and looked like MR clean was TERRIBLE wouldn’t give me a name for the security so we could write a report, the police had to get me a name and only a first name at that. Do not recommend this place it a joke! Will take your money and have no problem assaulting people! Listen to the reviews security and terrible never been to a place where security has ZERO training.
Would not recommend this place. Paid the fee to enter, my boyfriend at the door let in without fee paid, boyfriend got escorted out, did not speak to him since entering bar due to entering 10 minutes prior to him. Boyfriend got escorted out of place with “arguing on camera” with me, which is hilarious due to the fact that I did not get to see him in the bar due to such short time of him in there. I also got escorted out due to “people not paying fee” I paid my $10.00 and got kicked out due to other people. Make this make sense! Felt very uncomfortable the entire time due to the “bouncers” eyeing me up the entire time I was outside and inside the bar (which was short lived). If you go to this bar, prepare to waste money and your time.
Takes forever to get a drink in here. Was forcibly removed by 4 aggressive bouncers for complaining about the service. They tried to throw me to the ground head first. I woke up today with an injured hand as a result of the incident. If you want me to leave – fine – but don’t use aggressive force for no reason. Avoid this place at all costs it is an absolute hell hole with absolute scum for staff members
The Dome Nightclub has certainly evolved over the years, and I’m confident that it will regain its former glory as the premier club in downtown Halifax. It’s important to note that growth and improvement are a constant process. The club may experience periods of quietness and then rise again, as long as the management and bar staff consistently provide excellent experiences.
Having worked there and also been a customer, I can attest that the club has always been a positive experience, even during the early days when I was new to the club scene in 2015. It ultimately depends on the individual and their ability to control their behavior within the club. Occasionally, one might encounter a situation where they are asked to leave, but this is not a reflection of the club’s overall quality, and maybe a personal issue.
The Dome Nightclub is not without its merits, and its popularity is a testament to this. As with any establishment, it’s subject to change and evolution. Feedback is invaluable, and it will undoubtedly help the club continue to improve over time.
My friends and I got kicked out because one of us was swaying (he has adhd). It’s a club where you dance and drink? I don’t see the issue. Also a dude forcibly grabbed me and tried to make me kiss him and the bouncers did nothing about that when I said I was uncomfortable. So good to know they’re a ablest.
