The Drink Uptown

Someone told me earlier in the night this was the only club in Waterloo worth getting into and although I came late there was Friendly security and staff, such great DJ’ing that you can’t help but catch a vibe. Bring friends. It’s a good party tone with a nice dance floor.

The only caveat is that the other patrons can be a bit snobby getting in your space while dancing but that’s not something the club can really control.

Arab habibi with the slick back gelled hair and beard (bouncer) will let you in and skip the line as long as you tip him with cash! He let me and my friends in for $20 while the line was down the block(tips make him feel better). He won’t let you in if you come with more then 3 men in the club because it’s choose that in mind, real geezer should be fired in my opinion worst experience getting in a night club.

I came here with my friends to celebrate a birthday and instead one of my friends got groped and left in tears. We told security about the incident and they failed to remove the guy the first time around. It took us going to several security guards before getting anyone to do anything about this. WILL NEVER GO BACK. I don’t recommend going here if you enjoy being safe.

I don’t know why people are not reviewing this place. This club is the best club in KWC region. The vibe of this place is great, music is also good and mainly the people are also nice. If you are going to this place, please bring some female friends along with you. Because you will not have to wait for long time a long queue. The staff is also good at this place, but the only problem was dancing floor, it was sticky.

It used to be a good place to have fun and dance around but now you’ll see stoners and bouncers being rude to people. Even the entry procedure and filtration at the beginning is very offensive to some communities.
