The Grand Social

Love this bar and venue. They are doing great things for Rock and Metal music these days, with live music gigs regularly happening in the venue upstairs and with a good mix of Rock and Alternative music playing in the bar. The price of drink is at the levels we’ve come to expect these days, but it is at least lower than the prices at some other similar bars in the city centre, and this is one reason to continue to come here. The music is the other reason.

I went to the Cruchan gig here. A nice bar. They do a good pint of Guinness! There is smoking areas as well. Upstairs there is lots of space for a gig. It’s good that you can move around. There is an outside area too. They also have a good range of drink at the bar!

I had a blast at The Grand Social Bar in City Center last weekend. Their Halloween flea market was a real treat! Amazing variety of handmade items from friendly sellers. Can’t wait to go back for more unique finds! Definitely recommended!

I seen a Frank Zappa tribute band last Sunday. The bar and venue was very cool, a real bohemian feel to it and brilliant atmosphere, very like a bar you may find in Berlin or Amsterdam. Dublin needs more cool bars and clubs like this. 10 out of 10

Big fan of grand social usually but went to a gig there last Wednesday and was charged 2€ for a small 250ml bottle of water?! Wasn’t allowed to have tap water which is illegal – if you sell alcohol you have to provide free drinking water.
