About this restaurants :
We were kicked out of Reign because my friend has functional tick disorder and this security guard told us “disabled people should stay at home” !!!! The treatment we received because our friend had a small tick was disgusting and the management should be ashamed. Avoid this place at all costs they are ABLEIST AND DISCRIMINATORY.
Be aware of “promotors” they lure you in by messaging you on instagram offering guest list free drinks ect. It’s a complete scam. Upon arriving he told us the guest list was full and told us we had to pay £20 entry. Didn’t really make sense considering we organised the visit and had booked a table for the 7 of us so I don’t know how a problem arose. So I was debating this between my friends and he convinced us to come in and pay as we would get “free drinks all night” so we went in. They sat us on some cramped for table with strangers and had a worker in a fancy suit pouring “alcohol” from massive bottles of grey goose and Belvedere. The drinks were pure cranberry juice and water and absolutely no actual alcohol in them. It was completely deceiving and comical. We ordered shots and they brought us a tray of pineapple juice. To actually buy a shot of tequila it is £17 each shot. A single shot drink is £20. So here’s the worst part of the story, my friend has seizure-like tics that don’t last long and aren’t harmful. She had a little episode while sat down at the booth. They told her to go outside for fresh air and then told her she’s not coming back in. She was not drunk. We explained to her she has a disability, the bouncer with the blonde pixie cut who’s been working there for 3 weeks told us that my friend should stay home if she’s disabled. Completely ableist, deceiving frauds. Don’t go here, listen to the reviews.
Honestly just so sad how naked girls are there to prance around and dance in front of old(er?) men at Reign. Yes it’s their job but it’s sad none the less. Again it’s their job, but security confiscated my prescription meds (that I need with me to keep me safe!) at the door so I spent my limited time at Reign worried I would be really unwell and not be able to do anything about it. Would give 0 stars if possible. Such a shame because the venue has potential
What a night, amazing clubbing, great show, DJ knows how to keep people dancing all night… Great location, nice and professional staff.
DO NOT GO!!! Wouldn’t even give this place 1 star if I had the option!! My friend got us on the guest list so had no idea where we were going really and that there was a ‘dress code’. After standing in the queue for about 20 mins (we were the first ones there) even thou it was already past 11pm and they’re meant to open at 11. Got asked for our ID’s which you then have to scan into a machine which also takes a picture of you, while getting this done I was asked if I’ve had anything to drink so I replied yes but I wasn’t drunk to the point where I wasn’t able to walk or was slurring my words or anything, I was offered water which I declined and was told if I don’t take the water I’ll have to go and stand outside and have a breather before I come in, so I took the water and was told not to be having many drinks. My friends got a SINGLE VODKA LEMONADE which is the most basic and cheapest drink you can get and it cost them £20 each!!! So I was sort of glad I was sipping on my water at this point but sort of scared I’d get threw out if I didn’t drink it. We got took to this VIP area by one of the promoters where you were able to get free drinks…(we were told we could stay there unless someone buys the table which I’m assuming from other reviews were the £1000 worth table seating area) we were given FREE grey goose with cranberry juice, this was a first for me getting free drinks in a nightclub, the staff whipping out 2/3 litter bottles of grey goose every half an hour and just giving it away for free just seems too good to be true. Pretty sure I had about 5/6 which didn’t make me any drunker whatsoever which we then sort of realised they’re just giving out water with cranberry juice. Every half and hour it was getting more and more cramped to the point you couldn’t move freely or dance at all so we made our way to the toilet where I was told by the security I’m not allowed to carry my coat around and I have to put it in the cloak room which you obviously have to pay for. After the bathroom we just stayed in the general dance floor area which didn’t really look like a dance floor, as I was dancing I put my hands against the wee stage bit where the dancer girls would’ve been on (at this point there was no one it) I was straight away told by security to move back and not to be touching that!! At this stage I was so fed up with getting treated like a 5 year old getting told off every 5 mins that we just left. First time leaving a nightclub 2h before closing time after paying £20 for entry which was the only reason we stayed there. The only good thing I can say is that the music was good so I suppose that’s what the 1 star is for. Will most definitely never be going to this place ever again and this was our first time going out in London which was very disappointing.
