The Red Room

We had a great night there. Everything was in order and organized. Didn’t see any disrespectful behaviour from both the staff or the guests.
Music was awesome with the best sound quality. Drinks were amazing.
Will definitely come back.

Hey guys, Mori here! I’m a huge party person and Red Room was really awesome when I went for Cancun Fridays. Very spacious, enough places to rest, lighting is spot on. They do however have a mandatory $5 coat check so do keep that in mind. I met a couple of new people there and had a good time so if you’re into this kind of music, definitely check it out. Bouncers are really awesome and understanding too! They don’t allow any vaping inside but they do have an area outside where you can smoke so just make sure your stamp is visible before going back inside!!!

I’m not typically one to leave a review, but I truly had such a negative experience here the other night. I’d been here before for Latin night and had a great time and was excited to go again! Most of the night was great and my friends and I met fun new people. However, near the end one of our new friends had had a bit too much to drink. She was alright though, and we went and got her some water from the bar, then went to the bathroom before getting ready to head home for the night. Very shortly after entering the bathroom, there was banging on the stall door. I opened it to find two staff members: a white man with a beard and a white red headed woman. They told my friend she needed to leave. When we asked them why, the woman (in a VERY snarky tone, might I add) replied “this is what happens when you drink too much, sweetie”. Throughout the interaction, she was raising her voice and becoming more and more agitated. The male staff member actually told her to take it down a notch more than once. At this point, a couple of my other friends had entered the bathroom and asked what was going on to which the lady jabbed back “mind your business”.
I truly don’t feel that there was anything going on that would warrant this kind of behaviour. I get that you have to do your job, but the disrespectful nature of how this was handled was honestly shocking, and I really do think that the aggression expressed by the staff was racially motivated as my friend is a person of colour. I feel confident that if it had been me (a white woman) that was too drunk, I would not have received the same treatment. This was reenforced the moment I took the time to read the reviews for this place and learned that other people had experienced or witnessed this kind of behaviour as well. Very disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE ABSOLUTELY NEVER, there’s a lady that works here that’s not friendly at all and is extremely racist and rude to people I don’t know why they have people like that working here. Multiple people have had the same experiences with this lady and the venue does NOTHING. My experience with her was horrible I asked for a cup of water and she gave me a cup to fill at the water fountain they have then when I was drinking water she walks by and says to me “ go back to the Amazon” and laughs. Mind you I’m of Latin American background. This venue should not hold ANY LATIN event here since they have Latin Friday nights, someone who is racist towards people SHOULD NOT BE HERE AT ALL! The venue needs to remove this lady immediately. I will never be going here again ever

Just had the most vile experience I have ever had in a club. We were with our friends and had a good time all night long with no issue, after our friend went to use the washroom as she was feeling rather drunk we were followed into the girls washroom by a white man and redhead white woman and we’re kicked out of the club because “she was too drunk to be in the club.” This was shocking as there are dozens of men and women that are wasted because this is a club and just as drunk as our friend and she was in no way “too drunk”, but it was clear that because she was a person of colour she was discriminated against. It was disgusting, she was fine and for it had been any one of us I’m sure there would have not been issue, as she had been watched all night then harassed in the washroom. The woman with the red hair was so incredibly rude as we tried to help our friends leave the club, extreme attitude, aggression and violent demeanour. Told us to “mind our business” as we were merely trying to help our friend in this disgusting matter of harassment. It is not the first time I’ve seen white staff treat those of colour and latin Americans in this club, despite them making the majority of their money from the Latin American community. Bunch of racist staff. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and extremely aggressive for no “real” reason, even though we all know what the reason is. Shameful.
