About this restaurants :
We went as a group, entry was not terrible and drinks were very well priced! Music wasn’t anything special with a mix of hits and misses. Staff were friendly, and coat room was available for £2. We stayed until close and there wasn’t an excessive amount of rudeness in rushing us to leave which is unusually great!
My one note would be that the music is very very loud, I went outside to take a break from the stimulation and was rushed into going back inside and the staff were a bit rough with those in the smoking area, so I think there should be more work done on accessibility or just simple awareness for autistic people. Otherwise really good 🙂
Of the 8 plus bartenders that were working on Saturday, only 2 of them were actually serving, with the other 6 girls huddled in a group laughing and turning their backs everytime you made eye contact with them. I didn’t mind waiting 20 minutes to actually be served by one of the two girls working, but when half of the bar staff is blatantly ignoring their customers it just feels rude.
As a bartender myself, it’s really not hard to turn around and pull your weight when your club is busy, and then go back to chatting with friends after you have finished serving. Otherwise, the drinks were good and the happy hour was great.

my friends and I are in college and were sober showing up to the club because we were planning on drinking there. We get to the door, get through security, get our ids scanned, and then they take 3 of us to the side and say we’ve “had enough to drink” even though like I said we were sober. we were also The only 3 Asian people in our group which leads me to think this place has racial issues. there was no other reason to deny us and they just wanted to make something up for god knows why.
Bouncers are lovely. Security were really on it. Shots were ~£4-£5. Can order toasties all night long. Music was great – on Tuesdays/Thursdays it’s pop from 90s-2010s which is fab! Ages of people there ranged from 18-50. Great fun!!
Weirdly high review to give for a place I didn’t actually get into I know. But essentially, this place will not allow you in if you are by yourself (at least in my experience), in my opinion this is honestly a pretty good policy as almost every problematic individual I have encountered clubbing has been by themselves. However I also can’t find any mention of this policy on the website, both when checking before getting a ticket and after being rejected at the door, which the more cynical part of me believes might be a deliberate choice to get sales from people who cannot get in. However bouncers were polite and competent, so I’ve no complaints in regard. In summary, would much rather the policy was stated on the website, but I do think it’s a good policy to have. I’ll update the rest of my experience after going with a friend some time.
