What do The Show Ottawa visitors reviews this place?
Can be fun but the line is always ridiculously long so you have to pay extra to get it which is understandable because it is a very popular club but once you actually get in it’s hard to get a drink, it stinks, and the girls bathroom is almost always flooded or half the bathroom stalls are out of service. Me and a group of friends bought tickets for new years and we basically just paid to stand in the longest line of life. Not sure why they would sell us tickets if us and many other paying customers were basically guaranteed to not even get in and just wait in line all night.
wish i could give it 0 stars. absolute waste of money and time. they made my partner pay to coat check his HAT and the staff were not nice at all. plus it’s been absolutely dead any time i’ve gone.
Terrible. Kicked out for wearing a durag. How does a durag affect anyone’s experience. Some girls wore whatever but a person wearing a durag gets kicked out. Asked why I was getting kicked out for wearing a durag and bro couldn’t give a reason. Funny part is I was kicked out by my fellow black man. I always keep my reviews to myself but this was just trash.
Came here for an event during my husband and I’s first time trip in ottawa. The line was rushed and coat check was confusing as it was cash only but their ATM wasn’t even plugged in. We ended up staying for only 10 minutes as the dj kept switching back and forth between songs and it wasn’t really our vibe. When we tried to leave we realized my husband’s coat check number was missing. We tried to explain to the coat check employee but she explained it was against policy to give the jacket back without a ticket. This was understandable however we had passed by her only 10 minutes before, could show a photo of my husband wearing the jacket, and even describe the complete content of its pockets. Eventually the manager came out to speak with us. He was very rude off the bat and didn’t really make eye contact with us as he told us the only way we were getting our jacket back was if we called the cops. We ended up having to leave and share my thin jacket as it was freezing cold outside and snowing. We ended up arguing that night and it really just crushed us as we were so excited to experience the night life in ottawa. We ended up going to other clubs the next day and had a way better time. Unfortunately we were not able to get my husband’s jacket back. We had tried to call the next day and they simply hung up on him twice on the phone. For the manager who kept my husband’s jacket I hope you enjoy it, his mom bought it for him and he has had it for 3 years. There are many other great bars/clubs in the area don’t go here and if you do take a picture of your ticket and hope they have the heart to return your belongings.
It was pretty concerning – there were a couple aggressive people around, and even after letting the bouncers know, nothing seemed to change.
Noticed a few folks who seemed way too intoxicated and aggressive towards other guests, and they were still hanging out. It felt VERY unsafe for everyone there. I expected a safer experience as a customer, so it was a letdown that these things weren’t sorted out quickly. Just wanted to share my thoughts on it.
If you’re a normal, non-confrontational person. Please don’t go here, you are not safe. The bouncers do not care and people are trouble are being overserved beyond comprehension.
