What do 2KW Bar & Restaurant visitors reviews this place?
The only thing I am not sure about is the share menu appears now to mostly include items that are served and priced per person/ portion. So it does not feel like a sharing menu or not a menu of plates designed for sharing. Or are they just trying to make it look less expensive than it is. Perhaps this is the new trend that I am not aware of. Perhaps they are just small plates and not share plates.
What’s cool about 2KW is they’ve got different vibes depending on where you sit. You can cozy up in the closed space or soak in the sun in the open area. And within the open space, there’s even a section with a sunroof for that perfect mix of sunshine and shade.
During the day, it’s all about watching the city’s hustle and bustle from up high, while at night, the city lights create this magical atmosphere. (It was winter night when we visited they have heaters outside) so Whether you’re chilling with friends or having a romantic date, its perfect . It’s fairly priced too. We just randomly asked to give us any rosé and it was the besssssst. Will come back soon for the smiling faces of the staff! Thanks for making the visit brighter than the sun.
We had high expectations for our $90 wagu steak, but sadly it was very gristly & not enjoyable at all. Our $80 lobster was tasty, but very small & the usually crunchy salt & vinegar potatoes were soft.
We were both disappointed after our total spend of $320 & sadly has put us off visiting again.
Note – You can’t get the fine dining menu if you want to sit on the rooftop with the view – that side has a different bar-ish menu. You have to sit inside for fine dining.
