300 Acres Restaurant and Bar

Lovely place for a meal, but extremely uneven service! The food was decent but things got off track with wait staff seemingly forgetting our table and some dishes taking 40+ minutes to arrive after multiple reminders. This is not that hard as it wasn’t actually that busy by then. It’s a pity as some of the staff were clearly trying, but other were either clueless or careless. It’s the third time I’ve seen wierd service at this place, so suspect it’s a regular thing. Just try to get all your orders in a t once and no extra drinks, desserts, etc… oh and parking can be very rural when they are busy.

Sitting on the balcony overlooking the putting green one starts to think they could be part of the pro tour. Service was great with little toys and colouring in for the lil ones. Food was good but not great. Steak sandwich was not overly bready but they need to remember beef likes salt and salt likes beef.

Squid salad was very tasty but maybe could have done with a side sauce.

Overall I would be back.

Food was decent but most were pretty oily. The lamb in the lamb gnocchi was good but the pasta was a bit starchy. We also had the onion rings which had a bit too much batter and also incredibly oily. Service was good and the interior was beautiful. Not a bad place to go to for a snack and a drink before your round of 18.

Ordered the Bourbon and Orange Pork Ribs and received a huge rack of ribs, with chips and slaw – it was almost more than I could eat! (And I can eat a lot!) Really delicious, as were my friends meals. A good selection of drinks was available, and the staff were wonderful, even with a group as large as ours.

Good Pizzas. Good quantity for price. I recommend their Garlic bread. Best Garlic bread I have had so far 😋
