My wife and I live in the local area, and the use of local produce across the entire experience is beautifully provided. the detail is exquisite.

The dining and wine pairing is excellent, and the use of the custom designed tableware made it a feast for the senses.

Congratulations to Philip and Kathy for producing this dining experience, and I know they will only flourish as time goes by.

We had a phenomenal experience at Alumni Kitchen Table. The house and rooms are beautiful and cosy, with fantastic attention to detail, making the brief stay very relaxing. The dinner was something really spectacular, each plate was exceptionally delicious and original, and clearly made with care and passion. The wine pairings were magnificent. It was a real privilege to be so close to Philip as he worked, and Kathy was a wonderful host. They took great care of us. It was a very special and memorable evening for myself and my partner, and we would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who appreciates food, or are looking for something different and special. Philip and Kathy have created something truly unique and impressive, we feel very lucky to have got to enjoy it.

My sister and I stayed here last weekend and I was completely blown away by the standard. Kathy and Philip have created something really unique and exciting here, I almost don’t want to give too much away! The food is spectacular and if you can join as a twosome or alone do! The interesting conversations really added to the experience, along with the theatre of food from Philip and the fabulous hospitality from Kathy. Well done to you both on what you’ve achieved so far, your attention to detail is incredible. Will definitely be back for more.

Stayed here last week and was very impressed with the whole concept. The dining experience is intimate and I enjoyed being able to see Philip cook and plate the dishes in front of us and chat to him as he did so. You can tell a lot of thought and effort has been put into each dish and wine pairing. Overall great presentation and flavour combination. Certainly worth a visit.

My husband and I had the pleasure of being the first guests last weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kathy and Philip are wonderful hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. The accomodation, all newly renovated is immaculate and we really enjoyed being able to relax after our meal in one of two reception rooms. Kathy even lit the fire to make sure we were cosy! Dinner was excellent, we sat at the kitchen island so got front row seats to all the action. Philip is a very talented chef and all too modest about the amount of work he puts in to each and every one of the 15 courses. The drinks pairing was also excellent. I would definitely recommend. Continued success to you both.
