Ard Bia at Nimmos

Had a lovely Easter dinner at Ard Bia. I can honestly say it was the best meal I had in Ireland during our six day trip. I had the monkfish cassoulet and it was perfection! On top of the incredible food, the service was wonderful. Staff were friendly and extremely attentive. Highly recommend, and hope that I am fortunate to come back again.

Comfy, and on a blustery overcast day, in Galway, served up some lovely fare. An ever changing menu speaks to the unique character. It’s simple, and simply good. The character inside is matched by the friendly and courteous staff. Most times you’ll get a lovely view of the River Corrib speeding by. An excellent spot before or after your walkabout The Latin Quarter, etc.

This restaurant is a real gem and offers a fantastic range of fresh food at an affordable price – I was surprised by this given the touristy location.

The atmosphere is homely and all staff are friendly. We ordered the roasted cauliflower soup, which was one of the best I’ve had it a long time. The toastie was also beautiful and while I did not order dessert, the cakes all looked divine.

Such a lovely lunch with my mum and sister. Traveling all over Ireland and it was so amazing to have an incredible salad & light yummy carrot soup & hearty meat dish! & don’t forget to get dessert!!

One of the most delightful meals we had in Ireland. Just a charming charming place with perfectly prepared seafood. A friendly bubbly server and a cute interior on the waterfront. If we had been staying nearby I would have eaten there everyday.
