Hands down the BEST fine dining experience we have ever had. We planned our trip to Melb around the Attica booking and were not disappointed. The menu featured lots of native ingredients and the standout dish was the crocodile…so delicious. You feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. Loved the brief walk through the kitchen. Service is friendly and attentive. There was a consistent narrative being told throught the food from start to finish. Already thinking about a next visit soon!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. From the outside the place doesn’t look like much but when you go in it’s a completely different atmosphere. The dishes are quite unique.

I absolutely loved Attica and think it’s easily one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.

The dishes were creative and rather than using ingredients you can get anywhere else in the world they choose to use native ones like saltbush, emu, and crocodile. And, unlike some other tasting menus (Le Bernardin or Jean Georges), every single dish at Attica was well balanced and delicious.

The experience component is really important to me at these sorts of restaurants as well, and I think Attica probably stood out the most in this respect. Rather than just shower you with excessive amounts of wait staff or opulent decorations, Attica physically took you on a journey and made it fun.

Attica delivered a memorable dining experience. While the seating arrangement felt a bit cramped, the friendly and attentive service made up for it. The culinary journey was marked by creative dishes featuring native Australian ingredients. The crocodile dish stood out as our favorite savory delight. Special commendation to the dessert chef; the dessert was nothing short of perfection. However, not every dish hit the mark for us; the smoked emu and lasagna were a bit on the salty side. Overall, Attica offers a unique and creative culinary experience.

We’ve been wanting to try Attica for a long time so decided to book a few months in advance.

Honestly we walked in with high expectations for a 2 chef hat restaurant, but was instantly disappointed when nobody attended us for 5-10 minutes and ended up asking for service ourselves. The ambiance this restaurant has wasn’t really our style as well.

Food – It tasted good but nothing more than that. Being able to try the exotic Australian food was a great experience but not one dish was exceptional and a few questionable dishes especially for the price you pay.

Service – Again, good but nothing exceptional. Different waiter/waitress every dish, can’t hear them clearly at times and compared to the table next to us we felt that we received shorter descriptions.

In comparison to other restaurants with similar prices our experience at Attica was underwhelming in every aspect. Yes a very interesting experience getting to taste emu, crocodile, ants and more but unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectation.
