What do Bentley Restaurant + Bar visitors reviews this place?
We chose the 3 course meal for $150. For this calibre of restaurant it seemed to be well priced.
The starters were delicious!
Enjoyed each one.
-Smoked Eel Custard with activated charcoal brioche
-Mussel pearl meat
– Salted lamb
– Zuchinni flower tart
Entree was great.
We chose the tuna & the duck breast. The duck had a slight dusting of Szechuan pepper (which I am not a fan of – but it wasn’t off putting)
The mains were delicious.. But after a few bites it became a bit heavy on flavour. (Many would like that – I have been eating a bit more clean the past couple of weeks – so my palate might be a bit off!)
The chips were average. (we feel they rushed this out to us) The tomato side was awesome!
Service was wonderful. They were late with bringing out the sides and made them complimentary.
Atmosphere was nice. Slightly too close to the table beside us. We could often hear their conversation and they surely could hear ours.
All in all a very pleasurable meal. Would definitely recommend!
The scallops carpaccio was a standout, along with the oysters and pork neck. However, the peach dessert was too sweet for my taste.
Nevertheless, the outstanding wine list more than made up for this slight disappointment. In summary, it was a culinary journey filled with flavors and discoveries. I highly recommend Bentley Restaurant and Bar to anyone who appreciates good food and fine wines.
Highly recommend the pearl meat dish, pork neck, wagyu and the liquorice custard desert.
The staff were great and so were the cocktails.
