Browns Edinburgh

This was such a beautiful restaurant. Our server uxia was amazing. Such a great character. Noting was too much trouble 10/10 for her. The atmosphere was a little low but it was a Monday in January so speaks for itself. The food was exceptional. The lamb and pork belly were fabulous cooked to perfection. Fab cocktails as well

I have lived in Edinburgh all my life and had never visited Browns before so decided to bring my Mum here for Mothers Day and wasn’t disappointed.

The restaurant is bright and airy and beautifully decorated inside. All the staff were very friendly and chatty.

We both decided on a roast. I had the chicken whilst my Mum had the beef and both were really generous portions and really tasty and well cooked. You can tell the ingredients used are of good quality. We also treated ourselves to a dessert. I had the Creme Brûlée and Mum had the dessert trio and we ate every drop.

Had such a lovely experience and will definitely go back to sample more of their delicious menu soon.

We recently celebrated our company Christmas dinner at Browns Edinburgh, and it was an absolutely memorable evening! 🎄🎉

From the get-go, the ambiance of Browns was captivating. Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh, the restaurant exudes a blend of elegance and warmth, making it a fancy yet welcoming venue for a festive gathering. 🏛️✨

The food was a highlight of the night. Each course was a culinary delight, showcasing a perfect balance of traditional Christmas flavors and modern twists. 🍽️🥂 The service was impeccable – attentive, yet unobtrusive, ensuring our evening flowed seamlessly.

Moreover, the spacious yet intimate setting of Browns made it ideal for our company event, allowing for both formal toasts and casual chats. 🥳🍷

In summary, Browns Edinburgh provided an exquisite backdrop for our company’s Christmas celebration. Fantastic food, stellar service, and an enchanting atmosphere – a truly upscale experience in Edinburgh!

As always, unbelievable. Really nice food and really Wonderfull atmosphere. On my opinion the food stayed a bit under the hot light as the black pudding was a little bit dry and I have to wait 10 minutes for my Smoothie and my water but it was totally reasonable as by the time I walk in there were only one waiter and six tables. Totally suggested as it’s a really nice place to enjoy your time in.

Service was great, Soup of the day was Leek and Potato served with sourdough toast. The sourdough was chewy and crispy with that lovely sour taste. The soup was a bit too salty for my liking though. For my main course I ordered Steak Frites off of the lunch menu. It came quickly and the presentation was exquisite. The steak was medium although I asked for medium rare but it was still delicious, tender and juicy. The garlic butter helped the flavour and the chips were crispy yet fluffy in the middle. Finally I had the Homemade Honeycomb ice cream with brownie. First impressions of it was that it was presented beautifully. The brownie was rich and the honeycomb ice cream balanced out the flavours well. In conclusion I would recommend this place for family’s, and friendly gatherings as the atmospheres is family friendly. The food was great and I would definitely advise to take a trip to Browns
