We go there for brunch on weekends and sure it’s busy but the service is efficient…
Food: 10/10 on the large portioned western omelette.
The eggs were perfect and the bacon was crispy. 😋
Home fries are decent and plentiful.
Their coffee is a good blend, not too strong and bottomless.☕
Cheesecake Factory desserts are available at a fair price.💙

We would highly recommend this family restaurant for any meal from lunch to dinner in a clean, relaxed & friendly atmosphere. 👍🏼
The western breakfast sandwich was unreal! Amazing and wholesome food all around. Their coffee is hot, their staff is warm and polite and portion sizes are the best you’ll find for your money.
I have ordered from this restaurant many times. This order was not acceptable and not up par with the price paid for the chicken souvlaki dinner.
Ordered the dinner with potatoes only and they gave the exact same 4 piece of potatoes as if it came with rice. For $22!!! And I was denied any partial refund. So $4 for service fee, $5 tip and I get four potatoes and 4 pieces of chicken. The fries were greasy and soggy this time and the chicken was very dry. Each meal was $22. Pretty sad for $$60 for two ppl. And restaurants complain they’re not getting enough business… I’ll be sure to look elsewhere instead of just staying local in the neighborhood. The last few orders haven’t been as good so clearly time for a change.

Pretty good spot for a quick meal, portions are worth the cost. Staff is friendly and inviting. Cozy spot by a great place for walks by the lake. Parking can be limited at location but there are plenty of places close by. I recommend the breakfast burger and poutine.
They boast about large portions for reasonable prices and they deliver. Taste and quality are great and the staff are friendly but definitely overworked. It’s a lovely little diner that revives the old Canadiana location and allows Pete’s Corner Grill from Parkdale to keep on going. My advice would be to expect a wait whether you’re dining in or getting takeout as it’s pretty clear they’re understaffed at the moment.
