What do Carbone New York visitors reviews this place?
The Tuna from their specials & eggplant & zucchini for starters were amazing!! The lobster ravioli was so good & not overwhelmingly saucy. My husband had the spaghetti puttanesca that had this very smoky & smooth flavor. Even the garlic bread & fresh mozzarella while you wait were awesome. The dessert I picked was not to be missed. The staff were attentive & and friendly, not trying hard. Now I know why this place is hard to get a reservation. I can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. So, I am looking forward to the next one.
Been here twice and both times were up to par. The eggplant was a great combination of flavors. The spicy rigatoni is also a great meal, though I don’t think it’s to die for.
The ambiance and exclusivity is understandable as it is a very small space. The drinks were amazing, the bartender Daniel was a great mixologist, they were wonderful. The staff is always very welcoming.

Heard so much about this place and needed to try. This may be an unpopular opinion but I thought it was just alright. The spicy rigatoni was the highlight, as it tasted so good. The meatballs weee okay, nothing outstanding. I appreciated the antipasto and bread provided and the atmosphere felt old school.
Went here for dinner late last night with my gf. It was my first time eating at Carbone and I was not disappointed. The spicy rigatoni was good and the jumbo shrimp was also fine. I do think it’s a bit overpriced but it’s NYC so you pay for the name. I’ve had better Italian for a lower price but I enjoyed the service and the atmosphere nonetheless. My favorites however were the baked clams and the tiramisu. Not usually a seafood guy but can always go for a good baked clam. Be sure to squeeze a little bit of lemon on top for that extra zing. The bartender was awesome and personable and even gave us complimentary drinks. Great date night restaurant
Worth the hype! I’d definitely put it on the list for anyone in NYC.
The spicy rigatoni is pretty good but I thought the best parts were the breads they give you as an appetizer, the sizzling pancetta and the veal.
Took the tiramasu as a dessert to go, but to be honest I’ve had better tiramisus elsewhere.
