The food was amazing but not with an hour wait.

Apparently the order wasn’t put through to the kitchen after I ordered, and nobody came to check on me while I waited. The restaurant was not busy and still has to ask for more water.

There was no apology nor credit on my order after their mistake.

I want the only one who had such a long wait. The older couple near me also had the same issue. Was it the kitchen? Was it the server not processing the order? No clue. Everyone was very kind but that didn’t make up for poor performance.

Food was so delicious. Pulled pork burger, steak and Eton Mess dessert was delicious to the last bite. Despite the spartan decor of the restaurant the food and service was great. Would recommend anyone looking for a hidden gem in Wellington.

Nice meal, good service. Tried the special 3 course seafood set menu. The entree was good and the main was very nice although the tempura was a little over cooked and the shellfish was also overcooked. However the fish was beautiful. The desert was tasty but a very interesting presentation as you can see from the photo. Only good value as we are accor members and got it half price.

My partner and I turnd up a hour early, the lovely lady said that we are more then welcome to take a seat and have some drinks while we wait for the kitchen to open at. The food was Soo delicious we got the duck, prawns, and venison carpaccio and clams for the side dish it was my first time trying clams and yummy! We got lamb rump and fish dish for our mains the lamb was beautiful and there dishes are a good size I have to say we rolled out of there. Lovely service and a lovely meal thankyou team I have photos but am unsure how to put them up
