Chairman’s Steakhouse

What an experience! Ever since moving to Calgary from Toronto, we’ve been having a hard time having a proper fine dining experience. Chairman’s really changed that perspective for us. Food was amazing! We got the rib eye and lobster as mains (both cooked to perfection). Service was really great, our server was really attentive and informative with whatever questions we asked. He also brought out the different cuts of steaks available there, which was really great to see. The vibe and decor of the restaurant was on par with any of the best steakhouses in Canada (maybe even better). Will definitely be back here again to try out some of the options there.

Went to Chairman’s for my anniversary with my partner. Had a great meal and the service was very good. We ordered the following:

Bone Marrow Flambe
Fresh Raspberry Point Oysters
Prime Steak Tartare
14 oz Rib Eye w/ Foie Gras Mushroom Sauce
8 oz Tenderloin w/ Blue Cheese Crust & Port Jus
Broccoli Cheese Au Gratin
Potato Rosti
Poplar Bluff Mashed Potato
Charred Brussel Sprouts
Carrot Cake

We had a dry dinner, so went for non alcoholic drinks.

Everything was amazing.

We finally made it back to Chairman’s for the wife’s birthday and the food was fantastic! The fried oysters were unbelievable they stopped serving it on a bed of salt presentation wise it looked great but sometimes you would get too much salt when you took a bite. The fried cauliflower was fantastic and the ribeye was perfect. Thanks again to Chairman’s for making our meal a memorable one.

Come here for the highest service and top experience in a Calgary steakhouse. Beautiful views, great steak (and non steak options), plenty of wine of choose from. Underground parking is included which is a great little perk. We’ve tried many items from the menu during the various visits and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Beautiful restaurant and service.

We came here for the first time and really enjoyed our experience overall! It’s a beautiful building and dining room and I appreciated that there’s heated underground parking. The service was superb, from the hostesses to our server. The service and being able to see the cuts made it an “experience”. The porterhouse for two was delicious and done perfectly. We look forward to returning and trying the tartares and tataki as we weren’t able to have it this time. We also appreciated the complimentary carrot cake for my husband’s birthday.
