Atmosphere was amazing, very old English feel. The food was great, especially when pairing it with the suggested wines.
The waiter for table 4 last night was absolutely amazing. Their patience levels were high, very informative, and attentive to the needs of everyone around.
Time goes before your realise it
My wife&I give this excellent tram Restaurant trip 10/10 having a three coarse meal with wine or beer complimentary glass of champagne on arrival.We traveled around Christchurch city while eating our meals having drinks and seeing all the views. Doing the circuit three times. Any tourist or New Zealander who hasn’t done this I have to recommend this tram ride.
Super popular, managed only to get a booking for 5pm even months before. Wonderful way of exploring the city without walking/driving under weather conditions, while being able to enjoy lamb desserts and wine. Lovely staff and ambience as well. Christchurch is sadly under much renovations now though so not much to see
My parents went on the Tramway Restaurant and loved it. Everything was superb. They loved the food, which was just the right size and delicious. The service was of the highest quality, and the company on board was great. The wine pairing is a must and went perfectly with their meals. They recommend it to anyone who wishes to try it out. Book well in advance as well!
Oh wow. We just had dinner here for the first time in 7 years and I can’t believe I haven’t had dinner here again, until now. It was really good. Way better than I remember. I highly recommend the experience. We ordered and shared all the meat dishes and they were all as delicious as each other. And the wine pairing was spot on.
