This was one of my most favorite restaurant experiences. Charming and romantic, my husband and I had a fabulous dinner here. I started with one of their specialty cocktails, the Perfect Pear
(Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka, St. George Spiced Pear and Lemon) -loved it. For dinner I opted for the Cooper Tasting Menu, with that, 5 delightful courses are presented. You’re not just served food, you are served works of art and the flavors of everything were bursting! (My eyes are rolling into the back of my head as I remember how good everything was!) You also have the option to have wine pairings with each course. The course menus change and the current menu for the Cooper is different than what I had. My husband ordered romaine heart salad and beef tenderloin, also cooked to perfection, off of the a la carte menu. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodated my gluten allergy, which was something I had not expected and very much appreciated.

As for the cuisine, it’s nothing short of delicious, with each dish presenting a blend of flavors that are both unique and satisfying. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere justify the expenditure. In essence, be prepared to spend a little extra for an evening that promises elegance, culinary delight, and impeccable service, ensuring a memorable experience.
The chef is fantastic and very creative like an artist. It is definitely one of the top 2 restaurants in the entire city. The plating and experience was great. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The food was so delicious. I especially loved the mushroom soup, truffle risotto that the chef customized for me, and the cheesecake ice cream. The tasting menu is very reasonable for what you get. I loved almost everything that I ate. My husband had the Ashley tasting menu. I’m very glad I came. It was in the carriage house of Wentworth Mansion which felt special as well
Best restaurant we’ve been to in Charleston thus far. We both got the Ashley tasting course and my husband paired it with wine. Every course was phenomenal. The service was excellent and never felt like we waited too long between each course. It is on the expensive side and worth every penny! We would definitely come back. Also, we came for our honeymoon so they wrote congratulations on some white chocolate which we appreciated 🙂
We visited to celebrate my birthday, and the Circa staff made it such a special evening! It was one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston. Everything we ate was beyond delicious, but I highly recommend the lobster risotto and grouper main dish. The lemon olive cake was incredibly refreshing, but the dessert special – cinnamon bun souffle – was somehow ever better?! Just try it all. You won’t be disappointed.
