About this restaurants :
I’ve heard so many good things from my fellow aviation crew members. Everyone has raved about the porkchops here, but I had already eaten a burger down the street at another restaurant. My fellow FA Nick and I had plans to meet up w/ our CA and FO for a drink. I ended up ordering an awesome blackberry margarita and the king crab stuffed mushrooms starter after browsing the menu and snacking on the strawberry butter and rolls. Unfortunately, the king crab stuffed mushrooms were not at all what I expected. They were more like cream cheese stuffed mushroom minus any kine of crab. With that said, our waitress and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I can’t wait to visit this restaurant again and give those famous porkchops a taste.
It’s a nice little walk from the Bally’s hotel. We got our food to-go, but the inside is relaxing with cute decor, esp the front counter made out of the front end of a Ford truck.
My husband got the 3 Biscuits & Gravy. They tasted as good as they smelled. The gravy had a smokey taste that was unique.
I got the Chicken & Waffles… So good. Fluffy Belgium Waffle covered with a perfectly cooked Fried Chicken dusted in powdered sugar. Honestly, it was amazing as is, no extras but the strawberry butter was a good addition too.

Came her to have breakfast and kill a few hours before going to airport to fly back to UK.
From the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome. People were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
I struck gold having the wonderful Miss Lee as my server, who made the breakfast a first rate dinning experience.
The food was really delicious. Very large omelette and hash brown. The biscuits and gravy were the best I’ve had in the States.
I recommend this place highly.

I don’t usually give 5 stars, but this little gem deserves it. Our waitress, Miss Lee was awesome, and the food was fantastic. Pictured are Bacon Dippers, Pork Chops with German Fries, and Fried Okra, and Chicken and Dumplings with German Fries, and cream corn. They also make real southern brewed sweet tea .
Came here for a date night with the wife. First time ever coming to the restaurant and we were both very pleased with the food, and service. It was a tad loud, but thats nothing out of the ordinary for 6pm on a Saturday evening anywhere in Evansville. I had the porkchops, and the wife had New York strip steak. Both were like butter when we cut into them. Such a great place to try, and we definitely added this to our go to restaurant list.
