Recommended but Not for the faint hearted.
Food wise:
In terms of variety and quality 10/10
This smoke house has seasonal menu that changes based on what’s available and fresh. They serve labour intensive smoked BBQ steaks, briskets etc.
I saw wild boars and sword fish , venison , goat on the menu!
All was good but
I personally didn’t like the 🍨 dessert. It was too sweet for my taste. My husband liked it.
Overall it didn’t affect over all experience
The seasoning in the chips .. amazing

I can tell that this place created a sense of community.. it brings people together.
Its more than just a smoke house its sort of a social club.
Price wise: reasonable and acceptable for the portion.
I ordered 1 appetizer ( venison nachos , 2 mains bbq combo and burger / 1 drink and 1 dessert)
As you can see the portions are quite big and filling.
Over all happy. Would love to come again.
Maybe on a weekend with live music to enjoy a different experience
A proper smokehouse with meat platters. You’ll get brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken wings, sausage as well as seasoned fries. They’ve a BBQ sauce, but you’ll rarely need to use it as the food tastes so good.
Great spot for food and a pint. Staff are all really nice. Food is great too. Proper smokehouse.

Went here for lunch yesterday, it was great. I got the platter for one with a side of Mac and cheese, thoroughly enjoyed it . Big portions, good value for money.
We visited De Roistes last Saturday as a family of 4. The food was absolutely beautiful, and that’s coming from a very picky eater. We had a mix of the menu between us, and it did not disappoint. Without a doubt, we will go here again.
