About this restaurants :
Visited this restaurant recently and found some positive aspects. The location is excellent, the interior is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is cozy. However, I found the food to be merely acceptable.
The restaurant shares its kitchen with the neighboring establishment. Customers can observe the food preparation from outside, providing a unique and engaging experience, whether they choose to dine in or take their food to go. Overall, it’s a mixed experience for me.
Good dim sum spot near Wall Street, they had some one of a kind items like abalone shumai or black truffle shrimp dumpling. They have a full bar so if you want to order a cocktail with your dim sum you could, I like mine with hongkong style milk tea, unfortunately they don’t provide the hot version so there’s only iced milk tea. The service was quick and the place is clean and bright. They accept cards with a 4 percent surcharge.
I like Dim Sum Palace so I’m happy that they finally have a restaurant in FiDi! Celebrated Lunar New Year with yummy dumplings and roast duck. Staff was attentive and accommodating. Atmosphere is traditional dumpling place but a bit elevated. It can be noisy in the main hall but that’s just part of the vibrant atmosphere.
Very classy place, delicious food and the custom service were on point. For example, I asked my sever for one to go order. In a few minutes, one of the staff placed the bag of food on the table too close to my plate. I was still having my lunch. I did think it was too close but didn’t make a fuss. Within seconds, my server came over, took the bag, tucked in the handles, and placed the bag in the corner away from my space. It is very much appreciated! Food was also delicious, and the black truffle dumplings were perfect.
First time in New york and came across this dimsum restaurant in the Financial District. The food was good and prepared fresh. The only thing I wasn’t happy about is the chilli oil, I was expecting a little kick of hotness but none. Servers are not that accommodating. The service is mediocre.
