What do England’s Grace visitors reviews this place?
Apart from a mouthwatering food, what makes it so special it’s the exceptional service provided by Zak, whose warmth, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of the menu elevates my dining experience and wants me to keep coming back.
The menu has a good range of delicious options, which was good since one of us was gluten intolerant, which they were quite accommodating about. The wine list was also very good, with the wine that we asked for being amazing! I would have loved to see more new world wines given it is a restaurant of antipodean inspiration. The food was delicious, both in taste and presentation, both of us loving the flavour combinations of the dishes we ordered. The only issue really was the rigatoni with morels dish did not have a lot of morel in it and a little more would be good to appreciate the taste, however the dish was still delicious anyways. The prices were very competitive given the dishes we had.
Unfortunately, we were waiting for almost an hour for the starters to arrive. However, I do not think this is a recurrent issue since the staff was extremely apologetic and offered us a discount and a voucher on our way out to make up for it. We will be coming back!
I had the sweetcorn fritters for lunch and it was lovely. They have a great drinks, including a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails.
The staff are very attentive and great service.
A restaurant you definitely must visit and an asset to the St. Johns Wood area.
We hosted a private dinner party for a group of 16 last week. Their GM, Rebecca, was a pleasure to work with in advance and saw that we had a menu catered specifically to our guest needs.
She lead the front of house team (Emily and Olivia took excellent care of us) on the night of the event and the service was impeccable. They went above and beyond, offering complimentary canapés which were delicious and an added bonus.
The food was stellar – some of the best I’ve had this year. I was also shocked to learn that the venue had only been open for 3 months. It had non of the early hiccups one often finds in new establishments; instead it felt like a refined yet welcoming neighborhood favorite – the type of place you look forward to for date nights and weekend brunches.
I can’t wait to return.
