Absolutely incredible! Food and cocktails were amazing, service even better. We sat at the kitchen bench and it was so intriguing seeing the process of the kitchen. Sorry for staring so much but it was such an awesome experience! Highly highly recommend, makes sense why the restaurant is at a 4.8 star ⭐️

Hidden down the back of a shady looking alley, Esteban is a true experience in class and delicious food! South American flavours taken to the next level, with epic tacos and delicious slow cooked meats with all sorts of delicious sides. The wine list is great as well, and match perfectly with the food. Highly recommend for a special night out!

Great spot with excellent tequila and mezcal selection. The staff are attentive and do a great job of service.

We had a few menu items we loved including two orders of the steak tartar tacos, the mixed veggies, and the lamb.

We sat at the bar and the candle light was a nice touch. $270 bill included a couple of margaritas and cocktails.

Friendly, fast, flavorful, and freaking expensive!!

Never again will I pay 14AUD for a taco that I must then pay 3 more dollars for hot sauce that should already come with it.

This place appeals to those who want to feel more upscale/boogie. And again while it wasn’t a bad restaurant. The prawn fish tacos and the tequila mockingbird cocktail I ordered were tasty and the service and atmosphere were executed well… but not to the level of being worth the prices. The taco was too scrawny for that price and the cocktail was too low strength. Having traveled across the world in comparable cities in the US, South Africa, and Mexico I can tell you the value is sadly overrated. I’ve had better tacos for less and better cocktails for more.

I believe the restaurant should reevaluate pricing or at least bulk up the happy hour menu. Or they could do more on the service side to bridge the gap. But currently there is a big gap I see with menu prices.

This was a 5 star dining experience with exceptional food. I don’t think you can go wrong with this food menu. There’s a great selection of drinks too. You must try their margaritas. The staff are friendly and attentive. The ambience is very cozy and inviting. This was a great find.
