Easily the best highlight of our Hunter Valley trip! Frank and his team are truly amazing at what they do. Harrison was an amazing host as well! We had such a beautiful dining experience here and can highly recommend for any who loves good food.
Atmosphere here was wonderful and sitting at the Chef’s table, you can to watch everything happen.
Bookings are highly recommended as they do get busy! Easily the best fine dining in Hunter Valley!
We had the chef experience set menu for $180/ppl. Food was welled served as art. I especially loved the taste of tuna roll and the dry aged duck. The last dessert was amazing as well. Other courses were taste okay but good looking. The staff were kind and patient. However, I may not come back next time if I went to Hunter Valley since it may not that worthy for this price and food quality.
Dined in for the EXP 9th birthday menu, which was a selection of customer-voted favourites. A true master-class in various techniques and local ingredients and flavours.
Service was friendly and accommodating. Our first time, however we’ll be back next time we’re in the Valley. Happy birthday!
The boyfriend surprised me with dinner at EXP. Restaurant, and we had the “Chef’s EXP.erience” with 9 courses! It was incredible and every dish was presented to us like art – meticulously plated. It was great to be seated at the chef table, as we could see the kitchen in action. The chefs also took time to describe and explain every single dish that was served, and we were even surprised with chocolates at the end of the meal as it was an anniversary dinner 😌. This was “worth the splurge” and big thank you to the team, for making our nights – and bellies full.
What a fantastic EXPerience, woah!! Impeccable service, the chefs were amazing, like every other staff member too. It’s actually quite hard to pick a favourite dish, and we left we having quite a few favourites.
We sat at the chef’s bar and seeing them in action was just incredible. I already can’t wait to be back.
Safe to say this is one of my new favourite restaurants.
