It’s going to be hard to put into words how special this experience was at Joni but I will try my best! WOW. From the amazing live music, the cozy ambiance, to the impeccable service and food, this was a 10,000/10 experience! Our server, Roy, was so beyond kind, attentive, and funny. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed like family. The live musician was so good and her voice really suited the atmosphere. Now the real good part: the food. We had the 9 course tasting menu and oh my GOD. Everything was flavourful, unique, presented BEAUTIFULLY. We just couldn’t get over how over the top it all was! This exceeded all expectations and I could not recommend coming to Joni on Wednesday nights for Joni Live and to try their tasting menu!

I went here with a group of friends to try out the chef’s tasting menu. We are impressed with the exquisite flavor and creativity of each dishes. Everything is very well presented!
In terms of service, I found it a little bit on the slower side and it could get a while to get the attention of the staff. I found feeling still a bit hungry after the entire experience since the portion size is on the smaller side for me. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is amazing and feels really cozy.
Overall, it’s still a great restaurant worth trying!

The brunch menu here is actually not bad, I like it so much that we came back 2 other times. However, they messed up the dish that I like on both the occasions when we went back. The hash was either burnt or not cooked at all. Plus the fact that when I asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed the first time, they said yes. Then when I got the juice on my second visit, they told me that it was bought from somewhere else. I guess that I should have asked if it was freshly squeezed in house.. Overall, really good ingredients and the service is good. However, the cooking could be improved and the food took forever to arrive even when the dining area wasn’t super busy. But probably the best hotel brunch that I’ve had in a while.

We popped in for a dessert and ended up ordering a high tea service — personally the savoury starters were absolutely delicious. Each bite was a hit! The mix of flavours and textures was interesting and kept our palettes intrigued.
The dessert options were also interesting and very unique. Although we were full we did take a bite of each dessert, the presentation of the desserts were something to really admire.
The tea was also very flavourful and the menu provided some good options for pairings. They brought an hour glass that let us know our tea was done steeping, a little detail that was such a nice touch.

Their afternoon tea service is lovely and comes with a wide selection of sweet and savoury bites. We had leftovers just due to the quantity of food, but each item was carefully crafted and offered a distinct flavour profile. The service was great and attentive as well.
