Keens Steakhouse

Everyone knows this is a phenomenal steak house. The blue cheese is amazing and so is the wedge salad. The Old Fashion and other cocktails are delicious. Steak was tender and properly seasoned. Service was excellent. The Chocolate Mousse is the smoothest you will ever have, it’s like eating a delicious chocolate cloud. Enjoy your meal at Keens!

Keens Steakhouse is a MUST visit for great food, exceptional service and a unique dining atmosphere that hearkens back to its roots.

Everything was delicious! I had a T-Bone and it was perfectly grilled. The carrots soaked in butter were amazing! The wedge salad and bread border on addiction inducing! For dessert, the creme brulee was outstanding. One of the best I’ve had in the United States! Simple but light and creamy with an undertone of vanilla it was perfection in a cup!

Keens Steakhouse was on my MUST GO! restaurant list for long time. Since my friend suggested, I decided to spend my birthday dinner at the place. The restaurant was known for old famous in NYC. I have mixed feelings about the place to be honest, if I came to this restaurant ten years ago, I would be more impressed and excited. As a New Yorker who love trying new places and food, I have to say with lots of competition of industry.

Our server was professional and gave us an excellent service. I’m not crazy about the tables are close to each other too much. Somehow, I feel like I’m in time square with full of tourist (please don’t get offended nothing wrong but it just makes me feel if I’m in the right place)

Food was good and steak was great as advertised.
– Raws bar/ dozen of Clams: compare to all clams I had before in my life, I think this dish just not as good as I expected. The smell is too strong and has some sand in it. When I spend extra in the restaurant, I expect a better quality than this.
– T-Bone was great: can’t complain and the portion is big!
– Surf & Turf: streamed Lobster and Fillet Mignon is wonderful.
– Side dish are a bit over price, string beans, fries, boiled asparagus.
– Dessert is okay, maybe is not just my style.

Overall, it is good steakhouse and will be wonderful for visitor and family.

This restaurant serves delicious food in an almost 200 year old atmosphere that is fantastic. I had filet mignon with peppercorn sauce on the side (8 oz). 8 oz was the smallest size but plenty big. Just enough to be a little bit more than full. The sides we had were Cesar Salad, mashed potatoes and asparagus. All were delicious. The Cesar salad was incredible. Service was excellent. And as I indicated the atmosphere was beautiful.

For dessert I had lemon sorbet that was delicious. This is a restaurant that should be on your can’t miss list.

The only ‘problem’ is it is expensive. But that is too be expected at any steak house and especially one of this quality.

Karen’s steakhouse was sososo good! their meat was perfectly cooked. nice and tender. They bring out a plate of veggies and rolls when u first sit down. Although the wait was quite long, I would totally come back!
