The brisket was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Amazingly tender, great smoky flavor that doesn’t dominate, and perfectly tender.

The salmon dip was … interesting. Some in our party liked it, others were more neutral. No one disliked it.

The pork belly was delicious and so were the slushies. The papaya slaw on the brisket sandwich was too spicy (and we like spicy). The sandwich was otherwise excellent.

We went for happy hour the other day and it was an amazing experience all around.🤩🤩

We set outside and enjoyed the Texas sunshine. ☀️

The spritz was $6 and the perfect refreshing drink for sunny weathers. We also got the brisket tostadas and they were to die for. 🌮The salmon dip also packed some serious flavor.

We were also checked up on multiple times from rotating servers which was refreshing.

Been coming here for the last three South by Southwests… We work them for the setup and for the entire two weeks so we typically come here at least 3 or 4 times during our stay.. I don’t know how, but this place keeps getting it better and better… The quality is amazing and the price is hard to beat… $9 old fashions? Delicious… Sweet crunchy corn fritters… Crispy potatoes, Texas sweet corn? Not to mention all sorts of smokehouse meats… Done in tasty imaginative ways… The vibe both inside and out is hard to beat.. Great fun, great food and drink, great prices, Great service , you gotta check it out

The restaurant is crowded as expected for Saturday night. I ordered the Asian margarita to begin with. It was tasty but I feel like I don’t have too much of a tequila there. For the main dish I had the pork belly bowl. It was tasty but just not a good pair with my margarita. Both were pretty acidic. The fried chicken that we ordered to share was unfortunately acidic so I wish I could have ordered something salty. I tried my friend’s Angus beef bowl and it was mediocre.

Highlights: Cabbage Salad, Crispy Potatoes, Loro Cheeseburger, Oak Smoked Beef Brisket, Oak Smoked Beef Back Ribs (can be a tad sweet), Coconut Rice
