Motte & Bailey Restaurant

We popped in at seven on a Sunday evening and were shown to our seats. We had phoned ahead to confirm we were not too late to be served . Service, atmosphere and food were brilliant. Staff super friendly and reasonably priced for what we got. Very accommodating and nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be back here again. Compliments to all involved.

Been a couple of years since I’ve been here and Jesus Christ I’ve been missing out. Best food I’ve had in years. Everything was literally perfect.

Have been here a few times now and definitely will be a regular customer. Such a cosy spot with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food is absolutely amazing. The steak cooked to perfection. Great menu with reasonable prices – especially considering the quality. Would highly recommend.

The staff was super attentive and nice. The food took a long time to be served, even if the place was not too busy. Like close to 30 mins. The food itself was well done, well presented, but I found the price a bit too high for what you get; the Sunday lunch menu (starter, main, dessert) with a pint and a coffee takes you to the 50eur mark which for pub food I think it’s a bit too much. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the decorations were cool and classic.
