Muse Restaurant

We went to Muse Restaurant for dinner last night (March 5th) to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely fantastic!

The food was amazing, the wine list was great and the aesthetic was beautiful. The service blew us away, the staff were extremely experienced and great at what they do!

Thanks you so much to all the staff, you made our experience an unforgettable one! What a special birthday 😊

My Wife and I had dinner here to celebrate a Birthday, it was fantastic.

From start to finish the service was excellent, we felt like rockstars, the vibe was relaxed and yet classy. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive

The food was wonderful, great flavors and with a sense of fun, we had the wine pairing and it was delicious

The meal took a few hours, but it did not feel like it took too long. Taxi’s are sometimes hard to get, and the venue arranged to drive us back to their accommodation in their Van.

I would come back for another ‘date night’

From the moment the staff deliberately came to open the door till the end of the evening when staff walked us out, it was 2.5hrs of professional hospitality customer service. Just as other reviewers have commented, service was attentive & unobtrusive. My glass was refilled without asking all night . We were going to order distilled water but waiter explained tap water is twice filtered, and it did taste just fine. We had 7.30pm booking on a Wed during school holiday, when there weren’t too many diners. The timing and execution of service was just right. It was our first visit to Muse so we did have an expectation after reading the rave reviews beforehand. Thankfully, unlike some of other high end restaurants, this one did deliver. Can tell a lot of thoughts have gone into the balance of flavours and textures as well as presentation. I was a bit greedy and ordered the coconut muse when I was already full, so I left feeling extremely full, while the meal portion was just right for my husband. The only recommendation is brighter lighting for reading the menu and to appreciate the food presentation. I only realised some food details when I looked at the pictures the next day. The toilet is a bit rundown but as this is shared with the cellar door, it is probably beyond the restauranteur’s control. Be aware that it is possible for a table to be louder than expected at a fine dining restaurant, which might bother some ppl, but we were fine with it. It’s good to see more fine dining restaurants that aren’t pretentious unlike a decade ago. Some diners were dressed for special occasion, while others were in casual holiday attire, but all were able to enjoy the dining experience.

We booked this restaurant two nights ago for my partners birthday. From arriving at the restaurant to leaving, every single thing was perfect. The staff were amazing, they opened the front door of the restaurant when we arrived and left and were so welcoming and educated on there menu. The food was one of the best meals we have had. The wine list is very well thought out as well including the decor, music, and overall ambience. It is rare to go to a restaurant for foodies and say it is perfect, but thank you Muse Restaurant. You ticked every single box. We left and the first thing we said to each other was firstly WOW, and then said that we understand why you have two hats now. Congratulations on your recent success, it is clear why you got it.
