What do O Bar and Dining visitors reviews this place?
A very special treat for my friend and I visiting Sydney. We had a wonderful lunch there. The service was second to none. Extremely attentive and very friendly staff. The food was exceptional, including the gorgeous cocktails. The views are amazing as you rotate. A very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this treat.
Our party of 6 were here for a birthday lunch. The view was fantastic though moving backwards when the restaurant started rotating made me feel a little light headed. The food was fresh and delicious. The serves were a good size and satisfying. The waiter was attentive, polite and an expert in taking group photos! They had a special treat for the birthday girl which we thought was a really nice gesture. Highly recommended for celebrating special occasions.
My family had a wonderful experience dining at this rotating restaurant. The food was great across the board and the view of the Sydney CBD/harbour was amazing.
Service was excellent from the moment we were greeted at reception, to the attentive yet non-intrusive service at the table. The complimentary birthday dessert was also a nice gesture.
Start to finish a class restaurant! The sunset views on the revolving floor are superb. We ordered from the a la carte menu and both my partner and I enjoyed all our 3 courses. The service was perfect, cocktails and wine selections were on point. We would definitely come back to dine again. You won’t be disappointed.
I booked a 3 course “silver premium dining experience” which included unlimited water, one side, two glasses of champagne and a box of chocolates (which I never got). According to the website it says that you are guaranteed a window seat, hence why it’s “premium”. The normal menu is $130 for three courses. We paid $220 for the “premium experience” the premium experience apart from the additional water two glasses of champagne and one side, isn’t really worth the extra $200, in my opinion save your money and go somewhere else.
Everyone in the restaurant was seated at a window and seemed to be having the same experience, so there was nothing special about what I booked. I received a email to provide feedback the next day, which I mention this all, I got a condescending response back saying the restaurant wasn’t busy hence everyone was seated by the window, and apparently it’s my fault I never got the box of chocolates because I was suppose to ask for it? I didn’t mention to the manager that they put a sneaky Sunday surcharge of $71, all up my bill was $570 for what was supposed to be a very special occasion but the food was pretty mediocre, the service and waiter was lovely, but I didn’t get what was promised and the experience was watered down by the fact they didn’t really provide a special experience they just overcharged me for the same menu. I would’ve rather have gone to Aria or Quay for that money. What a waste.

** Edit below and response to O Bars reply** I paid $220 per person, which is an extra $90 per head compared to the normal menu ($130), it was $180 for two people “unlimited bottle water, a window seat, two glasses of Champagne, One side (not sides) one side!! And a box of chocolates (I never got)”
Therefore, with the surcharge etc there was a $200+ difference for the “Premium dining experience” for what you got compared to the normal menu.
IMO it was a rip off and not worth it, but that’s just my honest opinion.
