One Tree Grill

Service was top notch and the place had a nice calm atmosphere..
I really loved the line caught snapper.. and the starter ravioli hit the spot.
For a late meal on a Friday night, I was surprised how long we had to wait for our meals to come out.. and also strange that out of all things , the kitchen ran out of shoestring fries..

We went as a group of 8. The food was very good and I definitely recommend but unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the service. Drinks took well over 20 minutes to come out and were few and far between. There was over a two hour wait between our entree and main (which we had ordered together) and when we were told the food was 10 minutes away it was actually closer to 45 minutes. We would have ordered dessert and more drinks but were not able to do so with there being so many delays over the night. Also the booking system did not want to work for me and took multiple attempts to book and ensure it wasn’t cancelled. It was a nice restaurant but I had just hoped the service was better.

Loved it, was our first night out since having our baby 15 months ago (without baby I mean). Waitress was lovely, forgot her name but she was Malaysian. Food was amazing.

Great dinner with beef sirloin and duck breast. The appetizers were delicious too, beef tartare was beautifully prepared and seasoned. Friendly and professional service. Highly recommend.

I took some friends from overseas to One Tree Grill for their final meal before they headed home. It was a fantastic experience for us all and my friends have said that it was the perfect meal to close out their New Zealand holiday. Fantastic service, particularly from our server Isla who gave great recommendations, was extremely knowledgeable and was also great at making us feel at home. Great wine selection and I loved walking over the top of the cellar and looking down. I would recommend it for anyone looking for high-end top-quality dining.
