Such a gem!! We heard about Partake from the show “You Got to Eat Here”, so we had to check it out. Perfect timing as we went on a Sunday which had a hour hour food and drink. We had the deviled eggs, stuffed potato and stuffed dates to start. All three were delicious but the potatoes were the favorite. The aioli dip was amazing. Our mains were the sandwich which was featured on the show Choque Monsieur. My husband raved about it. We also had the French onion soup and beef tartare. The tartare was made table side which was neat. It had beets in it which was new to me but very good. The earthy flavor went very well with the meat. Our server was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere was very nice, the right amount of noise and a great little restaurant. It is small so I would suggest a reservation. Would highly recommend!
My wife’s co-worker lives in Edmonton and recommended Partake. I came on a Sunday around 545pm. Really really nice overall experience. The service team gave great insight on the menu, they also shared that it was “Sunday Sips ‘N Snacks” which meant featured cocktails and some food specials. Lucky me! Part of me wishes I had asked for the name of the server working behind the bar to give credit where credit is due but on the other hand, if I gave an individual shout out it could over shadow an completely awesome job by this entire team. I’ll definitely be back here. All dishes I had tonight were really nice. My personal ranking would be;
1. Devilled Egg
2. Schnitzel Stack
3. Sausage
4. Potato

Partake, located on High Street in Oliver looked like a great date spot. Great ambience inside. This place is very small inside and has 3 bistro tables that can seat 2 each and two booths that can seat about 6 each. I went there mainly because of the location and also to try out their drinks and food. The drinks were delicious but I was disappointed in the food. The portion sizes were tiny. The deviled egg was delicious but the French onion soup was so salty it was barely edible. Maybe it was an off day, I would go back and try other items on the menu maybe.
Really enjoyed our evening here. Food was fantastic, hostesses were welcoming and very friendly. Atmosphere was cozy and warm.
I went here for a birthday dinner the other day. The food and the service were both excellent. The food menu isn’t huge, but that makes it easy to choose. Our server was really helpful when we had questions about the food and how much to order.
My only issue is the noise. It was very loud. It’s a small space and they were playing the music so loud our server had to almost shout for us to hear them and the same goes for conversations at our table. Also, because it’s small, every table is close to the bar so you get to hear the cocktail shaker being used every 10 minutes. I realize this can’t be helped, but it’s something to consider if you have anyone in your party who uses hearing aids.
