About this restaurants :
04_8_2024 My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time. I ordered the Blueberry Lemon Curd Pancake’s, and my girlfriend ordered the Garbage Skillet and I also ordered a side of Bacon. The Pancakes and the Garbage Skillet were delicious 😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁. But the side of bacon was cold upon arrival at table. I figured it would be three pieces of bacon but it was two. Overall experience was nice. Clean restaurant staff was very friendly.
Amazing breakfast… Fresh, spicy egg tacos and one of the best pancakes we’ve had. Our server was beyond nice. Highly recommend!
Our favorite place to go for brunch, as well as lunch and dinner. All food is made to order with lots of flavor, sauces, and an excellent presentation.
Unfortunately, the prices have gone up on some of our favorite dishes, so we don’t go as often as we previously did.
My favorite was always the Caribbean halibut, which they’ve changed to a different dish I have yet to try. I loved the farro with the previous version.
Chicken pesto is an excellent choice as well.
Let me first say I have only dined here for breakfast so this is what my review is based on. One of my most disappointing things about Fort Wayne is they don’t have the best breakfast spots, but Próximo is hands down the best place for breakfast in the city. The atmosphere is and service is elevated, and the food is divine. Everything is so sophisticated and chic but comfortable. Try the buttermilk pancakes🔥the French toast 🔥 and the steak and eggs🔥
I’ve been here a few times all with mixed results, mostly positive, though. The food is pretty good, drinks are consistently better. Service is always top-notch. Most recent was a brunch visit, and mimosas were excellent. The Chile Rellenos was absolutely amazing. The pepper filling was hot and fresh, with lots of cilantro and a fried egg to make it brunch style. Rice and toppings were perfect pairing.
My GF had the eggs Benedict thing with pork. The pork was super dry and cold, the cornbread was tasty but dry, overall not good..
Definitely be back again.
