About this restaurants :
This place should be a national treasure! It’s tucked away in a basement and the atmosphere is amazing. Warm lighting, great decor, and exposed brick. Gives a new yourk tavern vibe. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the public smash with fries. Right away you can tell it is fresh beef not frozen, the fries look and taste hand cut. It was simply amazing. Favorite burger in town for me. Will definitely be back. 10/10
My wife and I stopped by for an early dinner. This place was amazing! The atmosphere was great, all of the employees were over the top great! Couldn’t have asked for a better waitress. I wish I remembered her name! We ordered the Curds as a starter. They were probably the best I’ve ever had. For the entree we both ordered the Tomahawk Pork chop and it was excellent as well. We were both happy we stopped by! I highly recommend this place!!!
Had the Bison sliders and potato salad. They were both excellent. Washed it down with a public smash cocktail which in itself was an event of flavors sweet at first and ends with a touch of spice.
The atmosphere is nice but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had different versions of the pizza but you can tell the crust comes straight from a freezer. The ratio of dough to toppings is about 90/10 which is just too much. The pizza we struggled with the most was the Bassano, the pesto was literally flavorless. Most of our table didn’t eat more than half of their pizza, I personally scrapped the toppings off and ate them by itself. On the positive side, the spicy cauliflower appetizer was decent. I hate to say it but I can’t recommend this restaurant to others…
A basement restaurant with plenty of seating, an extensive drinks menu and a vegetarian friendly food menu. Courteous, friendly, helpful staff (shout-out to Jenny). They also have a large patio area with special events on stage at times. A walk in the surrounding area with old brick buildings is an absolute must!
