We came here for a special occasion on a weekday evening. The restaurant was pretty busy. We ordered the 10-course tasting menus. The food was excellent as it was not overly too salty or strong and the palette was pretty balanced and tasted great. The only item for us was that some of the desserts left us with a complex feeling of taste, but I think it might be a matter of preference.

Service and atmosphere was pretty much top-notch in our opinion as our server was fantastic and attentive. I could make conversation as it was not overly too loud too. Price point was expected with this restaurant, but we came out full and satisfied.

Rating shows 4 star, but it I could will be 4.5 if I could.

We got the tasting menu and it ended up around 400 CAD for 2 people, after service charge and tax. It was a nice experience with some interesting flavors, but the meal didn’t feel cohesive or michelin 1 star worthy. However, the servers were very friendly and enthusiastic.

Our first course was well done – there were a lot of variations in texture and taste, and even temperature, but some of the other courses felt repetitive (similar herb oils/herbs appearing in more than one dish) and a little confusing? I am all for fusion, but I didn’t think it worked properly, unfortunately. Some of the courses were also too salty, and I had a hard time mentally digesting what I was eating.

The desserts were also just okay – I would have expected more from this place. Overall, I’d recommend ordering individual items as opposed to the tasting menu. The atmosphere was also not as high end as anticipated.

Decently nice restaurant but service is okay, it took away from the experience. We went there this past Thursday and there was about a 40 min wait between dishes which made it hard to enjoy the meal. I recommended their fried mushroom, very cool dish. However, I would say I have been to far better Michelin restaurants in the city.

For a restaurant so highly rated, they definitely didn’t disappoint. Each dish was great except for the pork BBQ and cheese. Other than that, I felt like one of those anime characters in those cooking shows, my tongue exploding with stars.

It’s also a work of art, and the servers were very attentive, changing the plates when they get dirty with sauce.

It was just the right place for a special dinner with my family.

My experience was amazing! I was visiting from Montreal and heard that this was Canada’s 3rd best, so my expectations were high but I was not left disappointed. Everything was exquisite, and every meal we received on the tasting menu was delicious! Would definitely recommend the tasting menu, the portions are very good and will definitely fill you up by the end of the night. They even offered us an additional drink at the end and some gifts. I will return once I’m back in Vancouver!
