Pullman Restaurant

So cool! Would give them 10/5 stars if possible on atmosphere. Eating in an old train-car – a first. Great service. Food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Really neat venue – if you are staying at Glenlo make sure this is one of the evening dining choices (make a reservation). Very glad we ate here!

I really, really wanted to love this restaurant. We stayed at Glenlo Abbey and were excited to dine here. However, the food just wasn’t good for the price. The dishes didn’t wow us and a couple of them were not good (risotto and salmon appetizer). The service was chaotic and it took a long time to get anything. We did like the atmosphere and the inside of the train is beautiful but I would not return.

A beautiful restaurant that inhabits two original carriages of the Orient Express. The carriages create a unique atmosphere and the food is top class, though the small appetizer offered wasn’t to our taste!

We found the service to be quite slow despite the restaurant not being overly busy but the staff were aware and had taken drinks off of our bill to thank us for our patience. We weren’t too bothered as we were just enjoying the experience of the restaurant.

Would definitely return to experience a new menu.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. It was perfect for our celebration. The staff was professional, prompt, and very friendly. The environment and setting was quiet, romantic, and historic. The drinks and food were super delicious and fresh.

Wonderful experience from getting out of the car. The grounds and the scenery are amazing. Walking into such an iconic mode of transport was wonderful, and learning the history. Service was impeccable, staff very attentive, couldn’t do enough to make our experience special, food was fabulous, couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return and try something else on the menu
