We had to wait 10 minutes for table but it was Saturday evening so i can understand this. Nevertheless, the wait was worth it as the food was really delicious. The lamb shank probably the best I’ve ever ate. Chicken wings good and shepherd’s pie also good. Good waiters. But policy that after 6 every person has to order something is ridiculous! My girlfriend had stomach issues and couldn’t eat and she had to order food anyway. Total nonsense. If not for that I would give 5 stars!
We went here for dinner with family, six of us. The place was fairly crowded but we were sat immediately. The definitely utilized every inch for seating. The restaurant is upstairs. The server was quick to come to table and continue to come as needed. I had the fish and chips which was very good. My wife had the beef stew and it was very good also. One son had a burger and fries. The fries came with a brown gravy that I could have poured over anything and ate it. That brown gravy had great flavor and was very memorable. The other son had bangers and mash that he said was very good. Great atmosphere, great food definitely a must try.
Wanted a nice Irish dinner for our last night and we couldn’t of chosen a better place. Walked straight in and we were served our food very quickly. We ordered the mixed salad and bread very fresh! For our main we had the slow cooked beef & Guinness beef. It was sooo did the veggies and beef were cooked perfectly we added the mash it was creamy. This was shared between two people and we still had leftovers so full we couldn’t eat dessert but really wish we had! The atmosphere was wonderful! Service was quick and nice!
The establishment is large. The service is pleasant, and the people are very friendly. There was pleasant music in the background by well-known performers from Ireland. The food was extremely delicious, and the portions were very generous. A fantastic place.
an old Irish restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I’ve only been twice and both times I had the fish and chips…delicious…so I guess the rest of the food is the same. we tried 4 desserts and each one was perfect
